Seed Bed includes a coarse sheet sponge (6.28 x 5.5 x 0.78) and coarse intake sponge (3.1” x 1.6”, .6” ID) for hang on back filters. The sheet sponge can be cut to fit in virtually any filter box or canister or it can be used to baffle the output on a hang on back filter into the tank. The intake sponge is open on one end to fit over the filter intake and closed on the other end to prevent animals being sucked onto the bottom of the intake. These are cycled without animals however they are intended for immediate use with animals in the tank.
